The Asian Philosophy Conference will be held on 3rd and 4th January 2018, (Topic for the APC “Asian Perspectives on Holistic Modes of Thinking and Ways of Living”) and IPC is from 5th January 5-7, 2018. (Topic: “Holistic Way of Life and Living”) Members are requested to participate both in the Asian Philosophy Conference as well as IPC. Arrangements for lodging and boarding will be made from 2nd January to enable the members to participate in both events. Prof. K.N. Tiwari, Professor & Head (Retd.), Dept. of Philosophy, Bhagalpur University, Bihar, is the General President of the 92nd IPC session.
The Vice Chancellors/Directors/Deans are requested to nominate delegates from their Universities/Institutes to attend the 92ndSessionof the Congress. The Heads of the Departments of Philosophy and the members of the Indian Philosophical Congress are requested to disseminate this information in their institutions and academic circles.
IPC Membership Fees
Three categories of membership fees of the IPC are as follows: Life Membership: Rs.3000/- Ordinary Membership: Rs.500/(annual) Associate Membership: Rs. 150/-(annual for students) All persons (excluding Life members) attending the Congress are required to pay the membership fee of the IPC. The fee may be paid along with the registration fee of the92ndSession.
Submission of Papers
20th November 2017 is the last date for submission of abstracts of 500 words along with papers of not more than 1500 words (4 pages, double spaced). Paper writers are requested to furnish proof of their membership of IPC while submitting papers in either soft or hardcopy to: Mr. L.D. How to Reach the Venue
The Holistic Science Research Center, Vitrag Vignan Charitable Research Foundation, Near MahavidehTeerthDham, Kamrej, Surat, is at Kamrej, is 18 kms distance from the Surat Railway station, and 30 kms from the Surat Airport.. The venue is located on the National Highway between Mumbai (276 kms) and Ahmedabad (244 kms). Auto/Taxi/State Transport /BRTS and Municipal buses are available from the Railway station. Arrangements will be made to receive the participants from the Rly.station and Airport. Temperature: Maximum 28 degree Celsius and minimum 13 degree Celsius may be expected during January in Surat.
